This year at the Cologne Commons, Conference and Festival for Creative Commons issues, I will care for a little bit of theory. We want to release an eReader, that covers various topics about “status quo” and “quo vadis” of Creative Commons, free content, small and large scale economies and community driven stuff, in order to provide new perspectives on content and the internet. The reader is planned to be in German, but let’s see, what direction it will take. If you want to contribute, feel free to contact me or leave a comment. Artist Ji Lee has made some very interesting works. It seems, that his interest is about making “invisible things visible” by adding something to the whole picture. One of this projects are the “parallel worlds”. Ceilings, unnoticed since the “modernism painted them white”, became “useless” and disappeared from our perception. Ji Lee reacted by creating Parallel World – miniture rooms – in that spaces. (via)

Freefarm released a Showreel of their music- and sounddesign works, from the last years. And this is a long list. Some beautiful stuff is among the works. Although the reel is about sound and music, Freefarm also likes to works with decent visual artists. Take a look for example at the Advanced Beauty project.

I didn’t seen Mawya Denki’s new instrument Otamatone until now. It is sort of simple, but also creative (we didn’t expect anything else from Mawya Denki). (via)

Robot wants Kitty is a well made little arcade-plattformer. You play a robot, that wants the kitten. While playing, the robots collects more and more items that gets him better abilities like shooting, jumping or double jumping. There is nothing outstanding about this game, but everything that is, is solid made. A solid gaming experience. I like it! Flash-browser ready (and it totally looks like made with Flixel). (via)
